Repair and Maintenance Center

  • Clinometer and Compass Repair: Our repair technicians can repair your Suunto aluminum housed Clinometers and Compasses. The repair service includes replacement of the capsule, instrument cleaning, and calibration.
  • Increment Borer Reconditioning: We can also recondition your increment borers. If it has nicks or cuts or the cutting surface just needs sharpening, contact us for our professional increment borer service. This will help extend the life of the borers and make them easier to use. Note that borers with nicks 1/16" deep or greater are not serviceable.
  • Diameter Tape Repairs: Our technicians can replace components to extend the life or functionality of diameter tapes. Installing replacement tape reels on used models is a popular service, but we can also install a Quick-Release Tape End Nail (No. 122212) or Dymax Repair End (No. 121425) on brand new tapes before delivery.
  • Other Services: We can also coordinate the repair of your surveying equipment, instrumentation, or environmental sampling equipment.
