Auger System Complies with EPA Sampling Guidelines
The Ben Meadows Gopher Auger System is available in stainless steel, so soil won’t be contaminated during sampling— the ideal choice for EPA testing. Stainless-Steel Augers come with the ingenious SquareLink™ connection system that makes changing auger heads quick and easy. Handle fits securely inside the square tube connection of the auger head. When the Auger rotates during sampling, the stress is on the strong SquareLink connection, not on the pin, effectively eliminating the bent or broken pins that occur with other connection systems.
Each Kit Includes: One standard Gopher Auger for breaking hard soils and sampling of most soil types, one Clay Gopher Auger for compact and wet soils, two 4'L Extensions, one Cross Handle with ergonomic rubber hand grips, and four link pins. Choose complete Auger Kits with 3-1⁄4"- or 2-3⁄4"-dia. Augers or build your own with individual components.
