Designed to introduce concepts of water pollution detection, this unique Water Pollution Educational Kit (No. 21500) includes both field test procedures and overhead projection demonstrations for the 16 water-quality factors—alkalinity, ammonia, carbon dioxide, chloride, chlorine, chromium, copper, cyanide, total dissolved solids, hardness, iron, nitrate, pH, phosphate, salinity, and sulfide. Test procedures can be performed in three-cell and six-cell inert plastic demonstration stages that permit clear magnified projection of colorful test reactions. Transparency overlays for each test identify samples and the test factors. Kit includes manual, report forms, Reagents (No. 221502) for 20-30 demonstrations of each factor listed below and two handbooks: “Our Environment Battles Water Pollution” and “Investigating Water Problems.”
