Surber Stream Bottom Samplers Capture Benthic Invertebrates

Classic quantitative Surber Stream Bottom Samplers sample for benthic invertebrates in shallow streams. Each Sampler consists of a 12" x 12" folding brass frame with locking brace latches and a standard size net measuring 9" dia. x 24"L. Choose from four sizes of Monofilament nets in rugged Nitex® nylon and a 900µm net in a new Multifilament nylon fabric that's durable and softer. All Samplers include carrying case.
Optional 6"L Base Extension attaches to the bottom of the frame and allows the operator to minimize lateral movement of organisms outside of the sampling area.
