Secchi Disks are Weighted for Stability

A weighted, standard size 20cm (8") dia. limnology Professional Secchi Disk (No. 223512) with black and white quadrants used for water-quality studies. Includes 20m of uncalibrated line on a handy spool and instructions for use.
A visibility Oceanographic Secchi Disk (No. 223510) that is white on one side and black on the reverse side. 20cm (8") dia. Lower disk on a sounding line into saltwater until white can no longer be seen. Can be reversed for depth measurement on black side. Use white side to evaluate water color. Acrylic with stainless steel hardware.
