Hand Corer Sediment Samplers Take Tubular Samples

Liner-type Wildco Hand Corer Sediment Samplers are versatile samplers ideally suited for shallow coring in fresh, salt and brackish waters. Just push the sampler into sediment using the handles on the head assembly. For medium depths choose 5'L, 10'L or 15'L Extension Handles. In deeper water the sampler can be dropped by attaching a line to the clevis, located on the head assembly between the handles. A simple flap valve allows water to flow through the sampler during descent and close tightly when removing the sampler, minimizing sample loss. Tube Corer takes a 2"-dia. sample and measures 20"L. All parts are constructed of 316 stainless steel. Corers can be used with or without liner tubes. Kit includes head assembly, threaded stainless core tube, two Lexan Nosepieces (No. 223588), two Plastic Liners (No. 223592) with end caps and three Eggshell Core Catchers (No. 223596) for retaining soft sediments. Stainless Nosepieces (No. 223590), Stainless Liners (No. 223594) and Stainless Core Catchers (No. 223597) available for harder sediments. Hand Corer available with or without carrying case.
