Artificial Substrate Basket Provides a Natural Alternative to Hester-Dendy Samplers

Fill this economical, reusable Artificial Substrate Basket with rocks, sticks or whatever sits on the bottom of the water body you need to sample. Then, drop it in the water. After a few weeks, you can retrieve your sample and check out the results. This sturdy sampler is constructed of 1 sq. in. galvanized wire coated with PVC to resist corrosion. One end closes with a releasable hasp on a cable; the other end is permanently fastened. Measures 6-1/2" dia. x 11"L.
