Topsoil Tour Kit

Students collect samples and perform tests for texture, pH, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium to understand the basic physical and chemical properties of soil to determine soil quality. Seven separate units of the kit include complete lecture materials, illustrated hand-outs, teacher's tips, test procedures, data sheets and games that reinforce key concepts.
