Tester Identifies Soil Compaction in a Variety of Soils at Depths Up to 24"

Get better nutrient uptake and irrigation, or avoid shifting or cracking blacktop to save money. This Soil-Compaction Tester features a handle-mounted pressure gauge and a stainless steel probe with depth markings at 3" intervals to help record compaction rates at different depths. As the probe is hand driven into the soil, compaction is displayed in 50-psi increments up to 300 psi on an easy-to-read, color-coded dial.
Comes with two stainless steel tips (1/2" and 3/4").
