High-grade LP30 Level Planer offers superior accuracy and a wide measuring range. Uses Sokkia's precision pendulum compensator to ensure horizontal accuracy. Theunique compensator is activated by gravity and unaffected by temperature. The air damping system ensures laser beam stability even in locations subject to vibration. Simply place the Planer on a tripod or level arm and set it to the approximate level. The built-in compensator then automatically sets the horizontal plane and the laser rotor starts revolving immediately. If the unit is tilted or jarred beyond its self-leveling range, the rotation and laser beam stop automatically, and a warning lamp flashes. Water-resistant unit is protected from splash water from any direction in compliance with IPX4 (IEC60529). Unit is powered by four D size batteries (sold separately).
