 Nova Lynx NWS-Type Rain and Snow Gauge Close All-aluminum Nova Lynx NWS-Type Rain and Snow Gauge has a total capacity of 20" of rainfall.
The upper portion of the funnel is cylindrical and is turned to a sharp edge. Rainwater falling into the
funnel is delivered to the receiver in a 10:1 ratio so that 1" of rainfall delivers 10" of water to the receiver. Gauge can be read to 0.01" with a 2" capacity in the receiver. Any excess rainwater overflows into the outer chamber where it is also measured. To use as a snow gauge, the receiver and funnel are removed to directly measure snowfall. Orifice: 8" dia. Capacity: 20". Measures 27"H x 8" dia. Resolution 0.01" (0.25mm).
