Advanced Distance Measuring Instruments let you complete an average survey using just four keys. Measure distances on highways or guardrails, telephone pole spacing, gas pipelines, E-911 addressing, TV cable length, even the length of crop fields! Can also be used for roadway inventories, traffic studies, cable line mapping, plant engineering, railway length, accident reconstruction or traffic monitoring. They can even calculate volume and costs for materials like asphalt, concrete and gravel. Compute distances and areas using your vehicle’s speed and the distance traveled. Slimline design. Backlit LCD panel with three brightness adjustments for easy viewing, even in low light. Four display windows for three-digit speed (mph, km / hr, fps), status, four-digit distance interval, and six-digit distance (miles, feet, km).
Power: 9 to 16V DC, negative ground 90 ma @ 12V DC (max). Accuracy to ±1' per mile. Resolution ±1'. Nonvolatile, unlimited internal memory storage, 0-99 event codes. Auto-calibration memory for up to four vehicles. Measures 2.25"W x 7.5"L x 0.88"D.
Choose the NS-50 DMI or the NS-60 DMI with Data Output that allows you to connect the device to your computer with the Optional RS-232 Download Cable.
Print hard copies of your NS-60 readings with the Optional Data Printer (DPU-411).
