Standard Model Irrometer for Use with Row, Tree and Field Crops

Model SR Irrometer is constructed of corrosion-, heat and chemical-resistant plastic. The patented sealed gauge is protected from outside dust and moisture. A water seal keeps the gauge air-free for better sensitivity. The durable ceramic tip resists breakage and can be replaced for longer instrument life.

A large reservoir holds a reserve supply of water to reduce maintenance. A rubber stopper gives the internal chamber a positive seal. Unscrewing the lid loosens the stopper to replace lost water with water from the reservoir and release excess air. Instructions included. The optional Soil Coring Tool ensures proper installation and operation by providing the proper hole diameter.

Service Unit: Includes hand pump, bottle of irrometer fluid to color water for easier service and 25 monthly chart forms. Use hand pump to remove air from irrometer before installation.

Test Pump Service Unit: Same as standard service unit, except hand pump features a test gauge for detecting any malfunctions or damage to irrometer.Note: All initial Irrometer orders require the purchase of one of the Service Units (sold separately).
