These 18 Series Fiberglass Measuring Tapes are printed one side in graduations of ft., in. and 8ths. Tapes resist changes in accuracy from tension and extreme temperatures. They barely stretch under tension and return to original accuracy after release. Fiberglass Measuring Tapes stand up to sun exposure. Tapes are safe when used around electrical hazards. Heavy-duty end hook folds down when tape is not in use. 18 Series Metric Tapes (Nos. 122610, 122612, 122616 and 122618) are printed two sides—ft., in. and 8ths; other side m, cm, mm. All Tapes measure 1/2"W.
Fiberglass Tapes are housed in Open-Reel and Metal cases, sold separately.
18 Series Open-Reel Cases are made from tough molded plastic with a metal-reinforced crank handle. Available for all blade lengths and Tape refills.
18 Series Metal Cases are coated with a rust inhibitor and have a flush-folding handle. Metal Cases only available for 50' and 100' blades.
