If it breaks, the spring-loaded bulb in these Bright Star Hazardous-Location Lanterns and Flashlights immediately eject from electrical circuit, preventing ignition of hazardous atmospheres. Hazardous-Location Lanterns have a tough polycarbonate body and hard plastic lens to withstand high impact. Adjustable pivot head allows hands-free versatility. Resistant to water and dirt. No exposed metal parts to spark. Two sizes: one 6V or two 6V. Hazardous-Location Safety Flashlight cases are made of high-impact plastic that's unaffected by oils, gasoline, grease, water, alkalis or alcohols. Unbreakable Tuflexx® lens ensures long use. Includes spare bulb holder, ring hanger and a guard around the switch to help eliminate accidently turning the flashlight on. Waterproof Flashlights also have a three-way (on/off/flasher) waterproof switch. Nos. 24492 and 24494 require Carbon Zinc D Batteries (sold separately)
