The AMS Hammer-Head Soil Probe Kit features a 16"L hammer-head cross handle which can be used as a basic, push cross handle. But when you need to sink the soil probe into harder ground, you can put an impact-absorbing hammer to the top of it to drive it in. You won’t need to lug around a slide hammer anymore! Probe measures 7/8"-dia. x 33"L and is constructed of chrome molybdenum. Hammer head is made of high-carbon, stressproof steel.
