These 36"/95cm Aluminum Calipers are constructed for better service and longer life.
The strong, lightweight aluminum alloy jaws are molded into the high-strength, injectionmolded plastic brackets. This eliminates the need for rivets that cause wear points and loosen over time to cause inaccuracies in measurements. The hand hold on the sliding portion of the Caliper features a thumb rest for slight movement of the slide assembly.
Aluminum-alloy base and jaws are jet black. Figures and graduations are black on the aluminum background. Adjustable friction pads on the moving jaw allow regulation of tension for increased accuracy.

Calipers are shipped with a brace to prevent breakage.
