The DME 201 System Gives You Accurate Readings Even Through Thick Vegetation

For quality distance measuring using only one person, the pocket-sized DME 201 System lets you accurately record radius measurements in a circular sample plot. Ideal for timber cruising, road or building construction. Works in heavy vegetation or when the target is not completely visible. Simply place the transponder on the plot center staff or directly on one measuring point. Hold the DME 201 at the other point or walk in a 360° circle, press the red button, hold still and read the distance on the display. If you slowly move backward or forward while depressing the button, the instrument will record the varying distance. Accurate to 1% or better when carefully calibrated.

For measuring distance between varying points, use two units and the DME will measure distances in exact digits whether moving backward or forward. Measure in feet or meters with a range of 100'/30m and accuracy of ±1%.

The Transponder can also be used for 60° or 360° measuring. Can be attached to belt or brush with clip or pinned to bark with hook. Features a built-in audible sound signal. Water resistant, rugged, hi-viz yellow. Batteries included.
