HAGLOF Graduated Aluminum 36"/95cm Tree Caliper, English on One Side of Beam and Metric on the Other Side

These aluminum calipers are constructed for better service and longer life. The strong, lightweight aluminum alloy jaws are molded into the high strength injection molded plastic brackets. This eliminates the need for rivets which cause wear points and loosen over time causing inaccuracies in measurements. The hand hold on the sliding portion of the caliper features a thumb rest for slight movement of the slide assembly. The aluminum alloy base and jaws are painted jet black. Figures and graduations are black on the aluminum background. Adjustable friction pads on the moving jaw allow regulation of tension which increases accuracy.
