Hydrocarbon Recovery Kits Allow Passive Recovery for Hydrocarbon Spills

Lightweight and easily transported to any spill site, these passive Hydrocarbon Recovery Kits require no power source or pumping. Using a series of hydrophobic filters and a skimmer buoy, the Hydrocarbon Recovery Kits collect and store fuel until it can be emptied in a drum. The skimmer will float with groundwater fluctuations up to 12". 0.5L Capacity Kit measures 1-1/2" dia. x 50"L. 1L Capacity Kit is 3-1/2" dia. x 39"L. The smaller Recovery Kit requires a minimum water level of 36" and the larger Recovery Kit requires a minimum water level of 17".

Hydrocarbon Recovery Kits include: collection canister, discharge valve, skimmer buoy, hydrophobic filter and 25'L Teflon®-coated stainless steel suspension cord. Available for 2"- or 4"-dia. wells.
