Core Sampler Takes Undisturbed Samples Down to 21.3' (7m)

With or without plastic liners, these Core Samplers take undisturbed samples. The coring apparatus can be used for surface sampling or with Edelman Augers for deep sampling to 21.3' (7m). When taking samples for control studies, a liner should be placed inside the sample tube. This prevents soil from coming into contact with the tube, ensuring an uncontaminated sample. After the sampling tube is filled, the plastic liners are removed and placed inside a Plastic Liner Container for transport or storage.

Core samplers can be used for general profile studies without the use of plastic liners. Simply push the sampler into the ground. The “Down the Hole” sliding hammer is included with the set for hard soils to assist in driving the core sampler.
