Use Pointed-Tip Rock Picks to break apart rocks and gather crystals, take mineral samples or cut out fossils. These Rock Picks feature broad heads with pointed tips at one end for breaking rock and a hammer at the other end for driving chisels. All have nylon-vinyl, shock-absorbing handles (except No. 162076, see below). The head and handle of each Rock Pick has been forged in one piece for strength and durability and has a fully polished head. Choose from four varieties to best suit your needs.
14-oz. Pointed-Tip Rock Pick, No. 162068, is suitable for more delicate work and smaller hands—perfect for young beginner geologists or rockhounds. 6-1/2"W head, 11"L.
22-oz. Pointed-Tip Rock Picks come in three varieties:
No. 162070 is a 13"L "standard" Rock Pick with a 7"W, 22-oz. head. Measures 11"L.
No. 162076 is a 13"L, 22-oz. Rock Pick with an attractive, deluxe Leather Grip. It also measures 11"L.
No. 162069 is a longer-handled, 16"L, 22-Oz. Rock Pick suitable for heavy hitters and mighty strikes.
