22-oz. Pointed-Tip Rock Pick is considered the standard—the rock pick carried by more geologists and rockhounds. Light enough to easily carry but heavy enough to crack some rock. Use the pointed end of the 6-1/2"W head for digging mineral samples out of hard rock or releasing fossils from sandstone. Use the hammer end to drive a chisel.
