Nearly 30 years ago, Ben Meadows (the man) designed these rugged BEN MEADOWS™ 10-Pocket Field Vests to give you unmatched durability that stands up to virtually any working conditions. Today, Ben Meadows (the company) offers you these same deluxe Field Vests. Some of our customers have been wearing the same one for years! For a few of them, the Vest is like a child's blanket—it goes everywhere and its owner absolutely refuses to give it up. These workhorses are available in two tough materials. The standard version is 10.1-oz., mildew-resistant Army Duck and is available in Orange, Green and Tan. The Nylon version is popular because it's blaze orange and meets or exceeds the high-visibility apparel safety laws in most states. Made of 800-denier nylon-an extremely durable material that withstands repeated laundering without losing its shape or high-visibility color-that resists oil, mildew, rot and moths. The front and bottom edges of the Vest are reinforced with polypropylene webbing to prevent rips and fraying. Vests include utility pockets, pen pockets, and a large zippered back panel to hold maps and charts. Field Vests are also available in Tall Sizes that are 3" longer than the regular vest. Note: If worn over a sweater or jacket, you may want to get one size larger than you would normally wear.
