Split Core Samplers are designed with a vertically split cylinder that allows you to easily separate the core body, prevents breakage of core samples and allows efficient removal of sample liners. Samplers can be used to collect cores without liners for immediate examination or with liners to obtain an undisturbed, sealed sample. Sampler disassembles quickly for cleaning and decontamination. Comes complete with 304 heat-treated stainless steel split cylinder, solid cap, slip wrench, 440 heat-treated stainless steel core tip, stainless steel liner and two plastic caps. Sampler with Core Tip is a versatile tool for a variety of sampling jobs.
Sampler with Auger Tip can be used for conventional hand augering to obtain samples in stiffer material.
Optional Butterfly Valve can be used to seal the Sampler when taking samples of sludge or other viscous materials.
Optional Coupler lets you extend the length of your Sampler by joining two split bodies.
